Ayaka Ishimura Wedding & Design

Ayaka Ishimura has been a wedding planner in Japan and Hawaii since 2008. Since then she has planned over 600 weddings. She is also a licensed Shinto priest and has assisted with numerous traditional Japanese weddings.

In 2015, she started her own business, Ayaka Ishimura Wedding & Design, because what she loves most is working with couples directly and creating their dream events.

She attended a conference for destination wedding planners in 2018, in Mexico. She was very impressed by the scale, flexibility and innovative ideas of western weddings. This inspired her to focus on destination weddings more and to expand the scope of weddings in Japan.

In addition to running her own business, she is a dedicated mother to her two young daughters.
