Yoshino Jinguu(吉野神宮)
Yoshino Jinguu(吉野神宮) is a grand Shinto shrine constructed in 1899 at the request of Emperor Meiji to honor Emperor Go-Daigo. Located on the northeastern base of Mt. Yoshino, the shrine features magnificent cypress buildings constructed in the Sohinoki-zukuri style, using only Japanese cypress wood.
