Nyoirinji Temple (如意輪寺), established in the 10th century, is a historic medium-sized temple of the Jodo sect of Japanese Buddhism. Located on Mount Yoshino's opposite slope, it served as Emperor Go-Daigo's place of worship and houses his mausoleum.
